Billie Ann Figura is a Realtor and Rental Manager for Shoreline Realty.  She has taken advanced learning courses where she earned her E-Pro marketing designation and her Shortsale & Foreclosure Resource designation. 

Billie Ann is a native of Pennsylvania and relocated to Myrtle Beach six years ago.  She first moved to Longs and in the past year moved to the Carolina Forest area.  She began her real estate career with a custom home builder where she worked closely with clients to build their dream home at the beach.  The square footages ranged from 1300 to over 5000 square feet.    

She now works primarily for buyers, both domestic and international citizens.  In addition to her buyers’ agent duties, she also manages approximately 40 long term rental properties.

Billie Ann prides herself in finding great deals for her clients and works closely with each of them to ensure the deal gets closed efficiently and with as little stress as possible.  She likes to coordinate each aspect of the buying process and has made great network connections with only the best mortgage lenders, attorneys, insurance agents, and inspectors at the Beach. 

She is married to Chris Figura and has two children; Eric is attending the Savannah College of Art and Design while her daughter, Mallory, is in Kindergarten

Catalina Lighting, Miami, Florida 1998-2002
VP of Sales and Marketing / Westinghouse Flashlights. Catalina licensed the Westinghouse Name. I was hired to develop a new division. From sourcing the
Flashlights in Catalina’s own factories, other Far East factories and domestic factories. Creating the retail packaging, appointing the ad agencies, and developing the catalogs. Interviewed and appointed all sales rep organizations.  Westinghouse entered its first year in a highly competitive market, but achieved sales goals of 1 million it’s first year. Accounts included, Kmart, Home
Depot, Home Base, Costco, and independent hardware stores.

Garrity Industries, Madison CT. 1990-1998
International Sales Manager / Industrial Sales Manager: In seven years at Garrity, I was in charge of developing all channels of distribution, Internationally and the industrial domestic distribution. Garrity had zero business Internationally. In seven years that business was grown to 4 million in sales, in 35 countries, 20
International distributors. I was instrumental in setting up all the Wal-Mart international programs working closely with both Wal-Mart international and domestic buyers in Bentonville.  During my tenure with Garrity, I was called upon to help handle all majors including, all retail chains including: drug store, mass merchants, warehouse, grocery, hardware, sporting goods, automotive, and department stores.
Vistalite, Inc., Lancaster, Pa. 1988-1990
Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Vistalite was a start-up company manufacturing safety lights for the bike industry. I was fully in charge of all sales and marketing. The first year I placed Vistalite in 6000 bike shops, taking sales from 0 to 5 million, against a budget of 250k.   Company sold to Bell Sports.  

Bayly Corp, Denver, CO. 1984-1988
East Coast Regional with direct responsibility for $30 million in sales.  Developed and placed four new fashion items, resulting in a $6 million sales increase.  Brands included Ocean Pacific, O’Neill. Handled the following key accounts:  JCPenney, Allied, May Co., and American Eagle. Supervised sales in the Unbranded Division. NY liaison for all Bayly’s Divisions.

Outdoor Sports Industry, Denver, CO. 1974-1984
To include Gerry Skiwear and Court Casual Tennis. East Coast Vice President of Sales with direct responsibility for 62% of the company’s volume. Supervised 10 salesmen and all major accounts plus specialty buying offices, SMC, RBS,
SSL and NBS. Helped in domestic sourcing on all design and prototype committees. Investigated and opened new avenues of business.

I am also a SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource) and CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and my skills and training give me that edge required when negotiating short sales for my Seller clients! My experience in the real estate market is diverse and extensive. I have had the good fortune of working in several different aspects of real estate. I was a real estate paralegal for more than 25 years. This experience allowed me to handle real estate transactions for both buyers and sellers on a wide variety of property types. Later, I began managing the closing department for a high volume new home builder. During 2006, my department closed over 1,200 new homes. I also coordinated the closings for a land developer in Myrtle Beach. These experiences have given me the knowledge and understanding about how important honesty and integrity are.
